The Lifan 330 has debuted in April on the Shanghai Auto Show, and new Lifan 330 will be launched on the Chinese car market in the fourth quarter of 2013. The Lifan 330 is an slightly more up-market variant of the Lifan 320, which will continue, at least for now. Design of the nose is a curious copy-mix between the Fiat 500L and the Mini, where the Lifan 320 is only a Mini copy.
Side profile unchanged but the vehicle looks altogether just a bit more grown up than the 320. The 330 will be powered by a 90 hp 1.3 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Price for the Lifan 330 will start around 40.000 yuan.
The interior is all-new, with a racy flat-bottomed steering wheel and Micky Mouse.
The Lifan 320 is rather popular among the ‘young and hip without money’. The after market is full with all kinda stuff to make the 320 more pretty than it already is. The 330, with its fuzzy little nose, will very likely attract more mostly female first car buyers.
